On the way back from the excursion, three different families were on speakerphone with other family members doing FaceTime and phone calls. “Excellent time operating the speed boat through the lagoon! It was great to learn how to operate a speedboat properly…no pedals…gas or brake. Watch your speed because the person in front of you may slow down unexpectedly. Had to take a star off because they contacted me 90 minutes nefarious departure to say they couldn’t make it to my hotel due to logistical issues. I booked the excursion back in March, so surely they knew of these issues well before 90 minutes to departure. The initial Mayan celebration was a nice touch…well worth it.”

“Our tour guide, Daniel San Francisco, and photographer Maxi, were amazing. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable about the areas we visited, was very friendly, funny, and easy to get along with. Maxi was very nice, though quiet, but his photography spoke volumes. The photos he showed the group at the end were amazing. They were a great pair, and took good care of the group. It was a little bit of a colder day (by Mexico standards), so the cenote and snorkeling with turtles were not busy at all. We saw multiple turtles, sting rays, and beautiful coral formations.”

“The experience was fun. And the guide was great. We had mariyiam. However, we all paid for photos at the cenote and never got them. What a rip off. They also told us no phones?? We had to leave everything in the car. Good luck if you’re a female on her period. No bags allowed.”

There were a lot of other people snorkeling at the same time as us but the crew made sure we were all doing ok. The lunch was nothing special but it was fine and there were plenty of drinks available throughout the trip. We really enjoyed the downtown area of Isla Mujeres.”
