“Though we had booked the Grutas de Garcia experience, unfortunately the caves were closed due to weather and renovations, but we were given an alternative private tour with Alex, and we had a wonderful half day tour with him. We visited the lovely horsetail waterfall and nearby observation deck, and then made our way to the "magical town" Santiago for a bit of a wander and lunch at La Postreria 77 (lunch not included, but affordable and delicious!). Alex was a wonderful guide; knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and interesting! And the sights were lovely - now we'll just have to come back to do the caves!”
